Terms Conditions:

Destination Holidays a leading and trustworthy Travel & Adventure Company registered under the Tourism laws of Nepal Government and accepts your bookings under the following terms and conditions. Following cancellation charges will apply:

  1. Cancellation before 30 days of your tour date: Non-Refundable booking amount of USD 200 / person
  2. Cancellation between 15-30 days before tour date: 50% penalty of total tour cost
  3. Cancellation between 0-15 days before tour date: 100% penalty of total tour cost

Note: If there is any duration lost or trip shortened due to unforeseen reasons after arrival in Bhutan, then there will be no refund made – because we have to pay in advance for the hotels and other logistics.

Trips & Itinerary Condition:

DH takes a great pleasure of having you in our various Himalayan holiday trips in Nepal-Bhutan-India & Tibet. Whilst all our hikes, trekking, tour programs with itineraries where accommodation are all set in respective Hotels / Lodge / Home Stay, Guest House & Resorts even camping in some remote area as per the set program itinerary. Some days could be longer or could be shorter depending upon the fitness of the clients, availability of vehicle on time, flight delay, cancellation, unfavorable bad weather and roads or trail condition.

In this situation your selected and chosen tour destination may differ from the program itineraries. In rare cases we might even have to reroute or cancel the trips as per the political, riot, bad weather, broken road or trail condition and porter’s situation and condition. In this case, please bear with us we will try our best to adjust the itinerary trips as best as possible for your convenience.

The company has the right to cancel the trips due to unavoidable condition and beyond our control including if the volume of travelers is less than expected as per the trips selected.

Travel & Medical Insurance:

Destination Holidays request Clients on booking to acquire Travel and Medical Insurance is compulsory undertaking any tour and treks. It should include adequate protection for tour / treks duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation expenses in any means of transportation on emergency evacuation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

Bookings and Payments

To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with 25% for Nepal, 50% for Tibet and Bhutan non-refundable deposit as detailed below. This will constitute acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions.

  1. We require you to mail of each passport to us. After receiving copy of your passport and the completed booking form with your Advance % non-refundable we will send you final confirmation receipt.
  2. All deposits required are per person per trip. Please contact us regarding direct deposit details. A bank service charge should be paid at the time of deposit. We will have receipt of deposit amount from our bank.

Payment Method:

For Credit Card Payment.

  1. We only accept Visa or MasterCard and a 4% levy will be added for card processing fee. For more information please call us +977-9851196875 or mail us to: info@destholiday.com to pay over the phone.
  2. Remaining balance is required to pay before the trip departure date. Our Company reserves the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.
  3. Destination Holidays Pvt. Ltd. will not accept any draft Cheque which take long process to balance.

Cheque Payment:

Please make cheque payable to Destination Holidays Pvt. Ltd. Company and post it to the address below:

Payment of the Balance:

The payment for the outstanding balance of your holiday is due 4 weeks prior to your departure date. If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card a handling charge of 3-4 % on the outstanding balance is made.

There is no handling charge for payment by cheque or bank transfer.

Last Hour Booking:

We accept your last hour booking in the eve of trip departure with 100% payment (07 days prior to tour starting date only for Nepal Trips, but for trips in Bhutan, India and Tibet will not be accepted as this requires at least 2 weeks in advance prior to trip departure in the neighboring countries.

Trips Cancellation Policy:

     

After booking, some may be compelled to cancel the trip due to personal / Domestic, medical, health, job or some other reasons, in this case 25% cancellation fee is applied if the clients have notified us or our abroad agents 2 months in advance before the trip departure.

  1. 50% cancellation fee is applied on 2 weeks to a month notice.
  2. No refund on last minute or at no show situation.

If the clients has to return or break earlier from the tour, trekking / or any other trips due to medical / physical or personal reasons clients has to bear his / her own expenses on route of trekking and at hotel in Kathmandu or in any other final and last main cities before your home departure.

There are no refunds, if the company has to reroute to other areas due to unavoidable circumstances and from bad weather.

In such condition the company holds the right and finally assuring in providing you a hassle free adventure holidays and the most enjoyable trip of your lifetime.

Clients’ Responsibility:

A tour / trekking guide representing Destination Holidays deserves all authority during your treks and tours. If you behave badly and commit any unlawful act, you are compelled to leave the tour / treks. No refund will be made in such condition.

Nepal Visa & Passport Condition:

All clients are requested to have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date. Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are sole responsibility of clients.

Cancellation & Booking Changes For Bhutan

  1. Required minimum of 30 days for cancellation notice prior to trip departure and it must be in written form, such notice will be implied from the day the note is received. Cancellation shall be valid after the company approval on receiving the documentation. The Trip shall then be termed as cancelled and then 50% of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid as cancellation charge.
  2. There will be no refunds if a passenger cancels the trip or leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily, involuntarily or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.
  3. Should you require other changes to your original tour, the person that booked the tour must submit a written document with changes you require While every effort will be made, changes cannot be guaranteed.
  4. If you are compelled to cancel from travelling on the tour by genuine reason or circumstances, for example (without restriction) due to death, injury or any serious illness of the person, close relative or friends, redundancy or jury service, in this case one may postpone or transfer your booking to another close person, as long or provided they meet all the requirements relating to that trip. You are requested to provide proof of why you were unable to travel at the time and need to change your booking.
  5. On the eve of trip departure if you are prevented in joining the chosen tour, unfortunately there is no refund regarding this, transfer or postponing options are available as the Bhutanese Government has strict Tourism act and policies.

Bhutan Visas & Passport Conditions:

All clients are requested to have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. For Bhutan visas you need to send your passport details to Destination Holidays for visa applications at least 45 days prior to the fix departure date.

Tibet Cancellation & Booking Changes

  1. As per the company rules, there will be no refund to clients with less than 20 days notice given to us, on or before Trip departure and if a clients leaves the trip earlier for due to personal or medical reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily and if committed any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. Then the company is compelled to make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.
  2. If client require any changes from the chosen original tour, the person who have booked the tour must submit a written document with any changes required. Then we will make every effort after the notification, but the changes cannot be guaranteed.
  3. If you are compelled to cancel from travelling on the tour by genuine reason or circumstances, for example (without restriction) due to death, injury or any serious illness of the person, close relative or friends, redundancy or jury service, in this case one may postpone or transfer your booking to another close person, as long or provided they meet all the requirements relating to that trip. You are requested to provide proof of why you were unable to travel at the time and need to change your booking.
  4. A fee of US $100.00. per person is required if you need to postpone or transfer this tour not less than two weeks prior to trip departure and there will be no options available in two weeks before trip departure.

Tibet Visas & Passport Condition:

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Destination Holidays for visa applications to this country, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.

Health & Fitness:

All our Treks and Tours require sound health and level of fitness before signing with the booking with us, client requires should always check with your local Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departures to Himalayan destinations.

It’s solely client’s responsibility to inform Destination Holidays of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.

Children:

An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen, if you have any queries regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.

Publicity:

You agree and to permit that Destination Holidays may use pictures, snaps or images of you taken during the trip without informing you and as well without compensation to you, for promotion and advertising purpose only through whatever medium it takes place.

Changes To Your Holiday And Pricing:

Travelling with Destination Holidays requires a degree of flexibility, positive attitude good humor and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement, road block due to riots and political crises.

Weather:

Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival etc.

Destination Holidays is unable to refund any payment under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible we will always endeavor to provide you an alternative or substitute trip of same category.

Destination Holidays does not accept any responsibility for loss on employment, delays or compensation resulting from situations beyond DH control.

Our holidays, tour / trek packages, are based on twin share accommodation. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.

We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc.

Privacy:

In order to collect information from you to making a booking through Destination Holidays may ask many questions to obtain necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will be disclosed for any other purposes.

We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once in a life time journey in this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire program is conducted strictly under the rules and regulation of theirs’ own policies.
