Starting the Everest view with scenic short flight to Lukla at 2,830 m where this fine walk leads through traditional Sherpa farm villages with views of snowcapped peaks and reaching the famous Namche Bazaar the main town of Khumbu / Everest area, from here heading towards higher at Tengboche monastery with awesome panorama of high snow clad peaks with Mt. Everest and stunning Amadablam, here visit the famous Tengboche monastery with monks and priest on prayer and then heading back to Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu where this overwhelming Everest View & Annapurna Sunrise Trekking concludes with great services of Destination Holidays its team of excellent guide and staff.

From the moment on landing at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, our staff will receive you with a warm welcome and transfer you to respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu city. After refresh join the other group member for trip orientation and briefing by our guide / leader regarding trek, hotels, do and don’ts along with evening group dinner.
In Kathmandu morning sightseeing tour, Kathmandu is steeped with historical and cultural monuments listed in World Heritage by UNESCO. We visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Buddhanath, Swyambhunath and Pashupatinath Temple. All tour accompanied by expert cultural tour guide, after a great time back to hotel, afternoon free at leisure and trek preparations.
Early morning depart from the hotel for the flight to Lukla in a small plane Dornier, Twin Otter or similar type, during airborne great views of snow capped peaks with Mt. Everest, this scenic flight takes 30 mins, on landing at Lukla, meet our other trekking staff and porters, with time rest and to refresh before starting the trek to Phakding for overnight stop, walk leads through several wonderful villages and farm lands with great views of hills and valleys then reaching at Phakding village for the night halt by the Dudh Kosi (river).
Today, walk will be long heading to Namche at 3,440 m high on the uphill path, starting the morning on crossing few bridges over Dudh Kosi River, then reaching at Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. From here walk leads on the bank of a river, after last bridge an uphill haul for few hours all the way to Namche Bazaar, here with 2 nights in this large prosperous trading town –village as well the main centre and capital of Khumbu area with facilities of ATMs, Cyber cafes, stores, shops, restaurants, banks and fresh bakery with busy colorful interesting Saturday market.
A perfect place for rest day with acclimatization, morning a short hike up to park museum, information on mountaineering, flora – fauna and Sherpa culture and religions, this scenic beautiful place offers a grand vista of high snow capped mountains including Mt. Everest and majestic Amadablam, options a hike to Everest View Hotel for beautiful scenery of mountains above old Syangboche air strip. For energetic people can take a walk of few hours visiting the sleepy Khumjung and Khunde located on a glacial valley beneath the majestic holy peak of Khumbila the patron god of Khumbu.
After a good rest and acclimatization, morning starts along a gradual winding nice path through conifer and rhododendron woodland, with the striking views of Ama Dablam. On walk with stunning views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku and Kwangde peak. The path descends towards Imjatse River at Phunge Tenga to climb uphill through nice forest to reach at Tengboche Monastery, a scenic spot with views of Ama Dablam, Kangtenga, Thamserku, Kwangde and Mt. Everest.This place is also a holy spot as the head lama (Rinpoche) of the monastery resides here. In this monastery, mountaineers take blessing from the high lama priest for better success and safe expedition.
Morning walk starts with a descend to Imjatse River at Phungetenga, after crossing the bridge a steep uphill for an hour then on the gentle winding trail all the way to Namche Bazaar, after a nice refreshing break at Namche journey continues following downhill all the way to Dudh Kosi River valley, with short ups and downs reaching back at Sagarmatha National Park entrance and then to Monjo village for overnight stop in this lovely small village.
Today, last of this super adventure ending at Lukla, morning walk leads on the gradual winding path to reach at Lukla, after a last final climb of 45 minutes, in Lukla reaching for lunch and overnight stop, a free afternoon to organize gratitude and farewell dinner with fellow staff and porters.
From Lukla daily flight operates early morning to Kathmandu, sometimes the flight time can get delayed due to unfavorable bad weather, as per the flight time board in a small plane for short scenic flight back to Kathmandu, on reaching at Katmandu domestic terminal transfer back to respective hotels.
When we arrive in the world’s popular tourist spot in Pokhara then after one hours’ drive leads away from the Pokhara valley called Nayapul. It drives us through mid-hills towns and villages with superb views of landscapes and Annapurna mountain range including the majestic Mt. Machapuchare “ The Fish Tail”. After that, our trek starts with a gradual walk through the nice village of Bhirethati here encountering trekkers, mule and donkey trains, our route leads on ancient trail to Tibet by Trans-Himalayan Salt Trade Route, walking through farm lands and villages called Hille and Thikedhunga . Then reaching at Ulleri village climbing 3000 steps. Overnight in Ulleri.
Morning walk from Ulleri overlooking grand views of the surrounding landscapes and of snowcapped peaks of Annapurna South and Mt. Machapuchare, after the strenuous uphill climb the walk gets better on the winding path through cool forest path, walking into serene green alpine tree-lines of oaks-pines and rhododendron, slowly walk reaches with a short climb gaining more height at Ghorepani- Deurali village with fantastic scenery of world’s 07th highest Mt. Dhaulagiri and its range of peaks towards North West, view includes Annapurna South and Vara-Shikar also known Annapurna Fang, this lovely village Ghorepani located on the high spot in the midst of old Trans-Himalayan Salt Trade Route which stretches all the way to Upper Mustang unto Tibet the people of this area are Pun Magar tribe and this place is famous and popular for the hike to Pun Hill a view point offering super wide angle views of world’s three highest peaks and range of other mountains with striking sunrise and sunset.
Early morning before dawn an hour hike up to Poon-Hill at 3,210m for fantastic sunrise views over array of mountain range from Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu to Annapurna and as far to Ganesh Himal in the far eastern horizon including majestic Mt. Machapuchare “The Fish Tail” most respected and unclimbed peak, after a wonderful panorama of sunrise over chain of mountains. After a wonderful panorama of mountains continue walk after Ghorepani towards Tadapani, trek leads uphill through enchanting rhododendron forest all the way to Tadapani for the overnight stop.Tadapani located in the middle of lovely forest with rhododendron, magnolia and oaks trees with fabulous views of Mt. Machapuchare and Annapurna South.
Today’s a short walk to Gandruk village, morning walk leads on a good trail through pleasant cool forest, with views of snowcapped mountains; a nice downhill walk reaches at Ghandruk village for lunch and overnight stop.In Ghandruk explore the Gurung village which is one of the largest villages around Annapurna region. The men folk of Ghandruk village have long tradition of supplying some of the finest soldiers in the Gorkha Regiment to both British and Indian armies.
Morning with superb mountain views leads to a short up through cool forest at Thulo-Kharka also known as Australian Camp.A wonderful spot in the midst of the forest with large meadows overlooking magnificent views of the Himalayan range of mountains, after a short break here, last hour walk an easy descend to Kande village on the road head that connects Baglung-Pokhara, from here an hour drive back to Pokhara after a wonderful time up in the high hills.
Morning drive back to Kathmandu after a wonderful trip in the high mountains of Annapurna area, after reaching at Kathmandu transfer to respective hotels with afternoon free at leisure for relaxation and shopping around.
Today, last day in Nepal with great memories and amazing experience trekking Tengboche Monastery Everest Panorama, our staff transfers you to Kathmandu international airport for your final departure homeward bound or to next port of call.
