Annapurna Sunrise Trekking

Hotel Accommodation

It all depends on the client’s requirement. However, we patronize standard Hotels/Guest-House, in Kathmandu for our clients as these hotels are conveniently located in the center of the popular Thamel district. Outside Kathmandu, clients are made to stay in tea-house required.

Best Seasons:

Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for trekking in the Annapurna region. The weather is sunny and warm with outstanding views. If you wish to avoid crowds and enjoy some alone time with nature, then taking this trip during winter could also be an option. However, the temperature during winter could be harsh for most guests. Trekking in the summer or monsoon seasons (June to Aug) will be affected by rain but the summer trek could be a paradise for a keen botanist and naturalist.

Normal Trekking Day

Destination Holidays trekking involves for 4 to 7 hours of walking every day, depending on trails and altitude as per the trip selected, with some rest and acclimatization periods. The daily routine begins at around 6 a.m. with bed tea and washing water brought to your tent and rooms. Please get packed promptly so that the Sherpa guides can start taking down the tents and your baggage, while you are having breakfast. Take your day pack with you to breakfast. The morning walk will be about 3 hours and there is no need to hurry. The lunch stop lasts about 1 to 2 hours and is a good time to do your laundry and write your diary etc. Then walk for another 2 to 3 hours to our evening stop. Tea and biscuits awaits you and a few hours later dinner and evening reading, cards, drinking, etc.

Tipping & Tax

Tipping though not compulsory however has become a customary in Nepal. 13 per cent VAT and 2.2 per cent Tourist Service Fee is usually included in your bill. Waiters, Bell boys and room maids would be happy to receive tips.

Note
